Maria & Rob | A Cool, Relaxed Autumn Essex Wedding

Maria and Rob have been together for 11 years before the big day.

He romantically proposed during a break in Cornwall, under a waterfall.

The big day was held at the exclusive-use rural venue in the heart of the Essex countryside.

From relaxed ceremony setup to family-style reception, with informal wedding seating embraced a comfortable aesthetic.

Even though it was the end of October, the day was blessed with sunshine throughout, and maybe because it had been postponed during Pandemic, felt warmer because everybody was eager to have a legitimate celebration.

The day guests arrived just around Midday, ready for the ceremony to start in the early afternoon, followed by drinks, canapes and group photos on the lawn between the moat and the outdoor chapel.

The emotional ceremony was held in the indoor chapel, were a harpist, Rob’s father gift to the couple, was gracefully playing.

Poems were written and read by ushers and bridesmaids after the couple had exchanged their vows with the guests’ undivided attention.

The newlyweds made their grand exit on the notes of “Come and get your love” by Redbone.

Imn true Maria and Rob’s style, they kept the whole day really informal, saving themselves the headache of organising a seating plan.

They made the planning process a stress free as possible by choosing a more informal approach to the meal, choosing a buffet style.

Entertainment by Sky Magic, who blew couple and wedding guests away with his tricks! Even Rob’s London fire brigade colleagues! And Dj played the couple’s favourite tunes all night.
