Discover the Magic of Intimate Weddings in London

My inspiration for an intimate wedding in London was meticulously designed and hosted at the exquisite One Great George Street Venue in Westminster, showcased on the prestigious 5-Star Wedding blog.

Personalised wedding in London inspiration

London is the perfect place to make your wedding dreams come true! I absolutely adore One Great George Street in London. It is a hidden gem with an abundance of room choices that will leave you feeling spoiled.

We were highly motivated to highlight the ceremony in the Main Hall and Grand Staircase. Our decision was to create a captivating atmosphere by using ivory and red chairs that seamlessly complemented the overall ambience.

For the dining setting, I opted for a sophisticated gold, blue, and gold color palette for this Intimate Weddings in London. The combination is bold and regal, exuding a timeless elegance. It is worth noting that classic blue is the Pantone color of the year, adding an extra touch of significance to the overall aesthetic.

The small and glamorous wedding ceremony setting

The venue itself is absolutely stunning and provides a wide range of options, including the Grand Hall and various smaller rooms. However, what truly captured my imagination was the Grand Staircase, which beautifully symbolizes a wedding on a volcanic island like the Aeolian Islands.

The ceremony setting featured seats arranged in a socially distanced manner, creating a harmonious blend of ivory and red chairs that seamlessly complemented the Main Hall’s surroundings.

The Silveremere Duo’s music, some lovely lanterns on the staircase and in between the chairs, and the enchanting and romantic atmosphere made it seem like a real wedding!

The Rotunda and the Internal Balconies

The two sipped freshly created cocktails made using organically sourced ingredients from Sicily while posing for formal portraits on the internal balconies and by the upper-floor Rotunda, which is positioned immediately beneath a beautiful glass dome.

The most intimate wedding reception Setting in London

The dinner arrangement wanted to enhance the attraction of the Stephenson Room, hence why was decked with tones of blue, hints of yellow, and subtle accents of green, evoking memories of Panarea’s ever-shifting coastal hues.

The tablescape was absolutely stunning, adorned with a beautiful combination of pastel blue hues, elegant brass and gold accents, and a captivating Windsor blue linen.

The varying sizes of candles and tealight holders added a touch of enchantment. The twinkly lights, chandelier, and soft music played by our Silvermere duo set the stage for a truly enchanting and intimate dining experience at a quintessentially British wedding.

The elegant chandelier and warm fireplace create a cozy ambiance that perfectly captures the essence of a private wedding in London. A sophisticated combination of gold and blue pastel colors, complemented by beautifully aged gold urns, and a stunning Mediterranean escort card design.

Ananya Cards has introduced a fresh collection of custom-made stationary suites, drawing inspiration from the captivating patterns found in Sicilian and Mediterranean tiles.
