a Glamorous and intimate small wedding inspiration in the Heart of London
We’re very pleased to share the latest micro wedding styled shoot we’ve designed and planned at stunning venue in Central London, the One Great George Street Venue, that has been featured on 5 Star Wedding directory.

The inspo behind the shoot
Having your wedding in London can just be as magical and everything couples have always dreamt of!
One of my favourite London venues is the One Great George Street, a gem where you’re just spoilt for room choices.
We strongly wanted to showcase the ceremony on the Main Hall and Grand Staircase and chose to style the area with ivory and red chairs, to blend with the ambience.
For the dining setting I chose a sophisticated gold and hues of blue and gold colour palette for this glamorous micro wedding shoot that really are a bold and regal at the same time , not to mention Classic blue is the Pantone colour of the year!

The small and glamorous wedding ceremony setting
The venue itself is so grand and offers many different options, from the Grand Hall, to different smaller rooms, but what really matched my vision was the Grand Staircase, perfect symbolism for a Wedding on a Volcanic island such as the Aeolian islands.
The ceremony setting had socially distanced seats, with ivory and red chairs blending in with the surroundings of the Main Hall.
Some lovely lanterns on the staircase and between chairs and the music played by the Silveremere Duo created an enchanting and romantic atmosphere: it really felt lie an actual wedding!

The Rotunda and the Internal Balconies
The couple took some formal photos on the internal balconies and by the upper floor Rotunda, sitting just underneath a magnificent glassed dome, while enjoying bespoke cocktails, created by mixologist Rui Teixera, using Panarea Gin and organically sourced ingredients, from Sicily.

The reception Setting
Fro the dining setting really wanted to enhance the beauty of the Stephenson Room, which features mainly sides of blue, some yellow and subtle green, reminiscing Panarea ever-changing shoreline colours.
The tablescape looked fab dressed in pastel hues of blue, with different accents of brass and gold, a stunning Windsor blue linen and different size candles and tealight holders.
All the twinkly lights, the chandelier and the soft music played by our Silvermere duo created a truly magical intimate dining setting for a quintessentially British wedding.
The beautiful chandelier and the fireplace display really give the room that extra cosy feeling a micro wedding is all about.
An elegant gold and blue pastel mise en place, matched by distressed gold urns and a ultimate Mediterranean escort cards pattern.
Ananya Cards created a new bespoke stationary suite inspired by Sicilian and Mediterranean tile patterns, another cultural element can have custom-made.

The Florals
TBR Floral Design has created stunning floral arrangements for ceremony, dining reception, boutonniere and teardrop bouquet, naturally arranged to mimic Mediterranean wild foliage, pampas and delicate light hues of blue and ivory blooms.
An intimate and relaxing ambience, perfect for a sophisticated micro wedding atmosphere.
The Couple
I wanted the bride to have a look that really embraced an Italian destination wedding vibe.
Lavelle Bridal Couture and Makeupology Brides immediately picked on my vision and delivered a sophisticated glowing looking bridal look:
our gorgeous bride looked absolutely feminine and sophisticated.
Our groom wore an elegant navy 3-piece dinner suit and accessory, or tuxedo if you will, from Knightsbridge atelier Arystocracy London, part from small collection of beautifully tailored pieces and luxury accessories.
The Cake and Desserts
Claire created a masterpiece cake inspired by Mediterranean Citrus, Sicilian tiles patterns, on cakesicles and biscuits and some statement mini cake , in the shape of bold golden Ex Voto hearts, surrounded by the tiniest pearl beads to be shipped to guests that couldn’t attend the micro wedding in person.
They’re so gorgeous you just want to hold them as a keepsake!
Guests experience is one of the major keys to a successful wedding, the get to experience what’s behind the couple choices.
